How To Get On Facebook At School

If you want to get on Facebook at school, but the network administrators have blocked the site, the best way to do it is by using a proxy server. A proxy server can enable you to access websites that have been blocked on the school's network.

Unfortunately, because many people started using proxy servers, school administrators found out about it, and they blocked many of the proxy websites.

If you type proxy server into Google, you can get a list of proxy servers, but a lot of them will be blocked and some of them may not be stable or have user limits.

There is a proxy server that can't be blocked by administrators though. Most websites start with http. There are some websites, mostly sites that deal with money like banks and eBay that start with https. The "s" stands for security, and these websites cannot be blocked on a network.

The proxy server that starts with https: is https://www.vtunnel.com. If you enter that address in a web browser, you will see a field below where it says "Enter a URL to browse the internet securely!". There may be an internet address like Gmail already entered, so type http://www.facebook.com over that. Now hit the Begin Browsing button.

Now you should be able to use Facebook without any problems. Just remember that school is a place for learning and socializing. If your grades are suffering and you're behind in your school work, then you probably shouldn't be spending time at school on Facebook. Make sure you are doing well in school before using Facebook!
