How To Use a Condom

Both pregnancy as well as sexually transmitted diseases can be prevented with the use of condom. Putting a condom is recommended prior to any vaginal, anal or oral contact with the penis. It is highly important to confirm the expiration date provided on the condom package.

Steps:

1. First open the aluminum wrapper of the condom carefully without tearing the condom.

2. The next step is to find out how the condom will open.

3. After that, you require placing the condom over the head of the erect penis in such a way that it unrolls onto the penis shaft. If not, you should pull the foreskin back to disclose the head of the penis prior to putting on the condom.

4. You have to leave a half-inch space at the tip of the condom so as to accumulate semen.

5. Dont forget to squeeze the air out of the tip using one hand.

6. Slowly stretch out the condom to the base of the penis with the other hand.

7. If not pre-lubricated, you need to lubricate the exterior of the condom.

8. Soon after ejaculation, you need to pull out the penis right away before the penis softens. Tightly grasp the condom alongside the penis shaft without spilling the semen.

9. Remember to eliminate the condom carefully after use by pulling out gradually while the penis is still firm.

10. Never reuse a condom. Always use a new one if you wish to have sex again. It is important to treat the condoms softly and you should keep them out from exposure to sun.

11. Using lotions, cold cream or baby oils are prohibited with latex condoms as it can weaken the condom. The usage of spermicidal lubricants regularly can also lead to skin irritation.

Storing condoms in a cool, dry place is recommended. Sexually transmitted diseases cannot be protected with animal tissue condoms as compared to latex condoms. Never use a condom that is brittle or old. Using fingernails or teeth while opening a condom wrapper should also be avoided. If it happens, get a new one instead.
