Changing to ham, cat food, fresh chicken and gravy and pilchards are good idea. Adding garlic with warm food is also a good option.

Dogs suffering from arthritis should be offered medications according to the prescription by mixing it with food. When affected by sore skin avert it from licking with the help of a Buster or Elizabethan collar. Bathing your dog with cool salt water, or applying an ice pack would be good option. Using chamomile or hazel lotion is also highly recommended for soothing the skin of your dog.
