How To Use a Gas Grill
Steps:
1. To prepare a grill, first start by setting it comfortably on a level surface about 10 to 15 feet from any dwelling or structure. After arranging the lava rocks in the bottom of the grill as per the instruction of the grill manufacturer and put the cooking grill over the rocks.
2. Attaching the propane tank and inspecting the gas line for any signs of wear or cracks is the next important step. Confirm if the control valve is closed firmly and then position the tank on the platform of the grill with the valve opening opposite the grill connection. You should determine the type of the valve connection according to the reference of the manufacturer's instructions. A screw type valve connection is the commonly used type that helps to attach the line to the valve using a screw nut.
3. For confirming the connection, you can use either apply a store-bought soap solution or blend a soap solution of water and dish soap to the connection of the valve. Check the connection by opening the control valve. The connection has leakage if bubbles appear in the soap solution on the valve. If not, you can use the grill safely.
4. The next step is light the grill. Check whether the propane control valve is unfastened before opening the lid. After turning the gas flow control on the grill completely, press the lighter switch immediately. For grills without a lighter switch, you can purchase manual grill lighters from your local hardware store. Once you ignite the gas, your grill is ready for use. If not igniting immediately, you should turn off the gas control knob and stay prior to trying again.
5. Once you have finished using the gas, turn off the propane control knob first and then turn off the gas flow control on the grill.
