How To Use Powerpoint

For those who wish to use PowerPoint for your job or computer class, we offer some important simple step-by-step instructions to get you started.

Steps:

1. After opening PowerPoint on your computer, type in your title and subtitle as provided by the program itself.

2. On pressing CTRL+M , you will get a new slide. You can choose from the list of slide types. If you wish to insert a picture with a title, choose the blank one with the title as it would be better than the content box.

3. Next step is typing your info on one slide. Repeat these steps to put all the info in your Powerpoint.

4. The next step is to get a background on your PowerPoint. First start by clicking on any place where no text is present. A small menu will be visible.

5. By scrolling down in the menu, you will get a list of Slide Background Design for a presetting background.

6. You can even make your own slide(s)1 color or 2 colors with fill effects. You can experiment with such interesting backgrounds.

7. In order to choose your desired slide design, just click on the thumbnail of the background so that it will appear on your slide.

No matter if there is no PowerPoint in your system. You can easily download the OpenOffice.org Suite and get the PowerPoint format for free by saving those files in your computer. For those who are specialized in operating in Word, you may have clearly identified that the PowerPoint pursues a number of similar rules as the Word including highlighting and deleting slides like in the paragraph of the Word.

Rather than saving the presentation with the extension *.ppt, you can choose the option FILE SAVE AS and then save it as *.pps (or the PowerPoint Show). This option can enable in saving the file on your computer desktop, so that you can access them whenever you click on it.

On your clicking, you will find that the presentation automatically starts and you will not have the need of opening the PowerPoint program initially.
