6. By 12, you should provide your child with best understanding of reproduction, puberty and sexual risks. You can provide them with information on how to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy. You should also tell them that sex when practiced after marriage and appropriately with protective measures are pleasurable and loving.
When explaining make them believe that you convey these information because you care for them. Never misguide or refuse to answer your child's queries.
