How To Straighten Hair
We provide you with some of the important tips to straighten your hair at home without the help of professionals.
Blow Dry
- For those who have hair that is both wavy and curly using a good old-fashioned blow drier is recommended.
- Washing and towel-drying you hair helps in retaining moisture in your hair.
- Applying little straightening cream can also help.
- After brushing your hair out, leave a two-inch piece down at the bottom while securing the rest of your hair up at the top of your head using a clip.
- By means of a large round brush half of the hair that is down should be taken and turn it to allow the hair to catch on to it.
- You can use the blow drier with one hand and place it above the round brush with your hair and then slowly move the two together down the hair shaft while repeating until dry.
- Repeat the same with other piece of un-dried hair.
- While finishing each section, bring down sections of your hair little-by-little until the whole hair is dry.
Using blow drier with a flat brush and a flat iron helps in straightening your unruly-tight curly hair.
- Always use a large paddle brush and a blow drier for drying your hair.
- After blow drying, secure your hair up with a clip in a bun and leave down a two-inch piece from the bottom back of your head.
- When heating your flat iron remember that higher the heat form the coarser the hair.
- Taking half of the hair down with a moustache comb, comb the hair holding it with the comb about two inched from your head and then fasten the hair straightener over that.
- Move both the comb and the straightener down along the whole hair shaft at a medium speed.
- Repeat this while taking small sections down from your bun to finish the whole head.
